Step 1: Cleanse
The HydraFacial® begins with a deep cleanse using the Active-4™ solution and a specially designed tip with multiple peeling edges. This step gently exfoliates the skin, softens sebum, and loosens dead skin cells. Active-4™ is formulated with non-acid exfoliants, soothing botanical extracts, and hydrating ingredients – making it effective yet non-irritating for all skin types.
Step 2: Acid Peel
Your medical aesthetician will customize the strength of the peel based on your skin’s needs. Most patients receive a mild salicylic and glycolic acid peel, which exfoliates the skin gently and neutralizes automatically, ensuring a safe and soothing experience. For patients with specific concerns, such as oily or acne-prone skin, a stronger peel may be recommended, and this will be discussed during your consultation.
Step 3: Extractions
Automated extractions use vortex suction along with a specialized tip to clear congestion and tighten pores. This process is painless and non-irritating, while simultaneously infusing salicylic acid and honey extract to soothe and hydrate the skin.
Step 4: Hydration
